Guillain Barre’ Syndrom (GBS) is a rare autoimmune disease and the most common cause of acute flaccid paralysis in adults and children in the United States. The following document will help primary care physicians/practitioners about GBS and the importance of its recognition in the acute care setting which may increase awareness of the physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of GBS.
