Job Summary:
The incumbent will be assigned to the Mental Health and Behavioral Medicine (MH&BM) Service, but will work in the Primary Care Clinic in Waco. Incumbent will function as a liaison between the Waco Primary Care Clinic and the Waco Mental Health Clinic. In this role, the incumbent will facilitate completion of consults from Primary Care, as well as perform teaching activities and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students. Incumbent will participate with on-call responsibilities in rotation with the other staff psychiatrists in Waco. The incumbent will be under the supervision of the Waco campus Mental Health Chief. The incumbent will maintain an academic appointment with the Texas A&M College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. Research opportunities are available and encouraged.

Qualifications:
1. Must be a citizen of the United States.
2. Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry.
3. Must have a degree of doctor of medicine or osteopathic medicine.
4. Must have current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
5. Must be proficient in spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d). You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
