The Psychobiological System Diagram of Appetite Control

It conseptualized three levels: the levels of psychological events and behavioral operations, the level of peripheral physiology and metabolic events, and the level of neurotransmitter and metabolic interactions in the brain.

  1. PVN: paraventricular nucleus
  2. NST: nucleus of the tractus solitarius
  3. CCK: cholesystokinin
  4. FFA: free fatty acids
  5. T – LNAA : tryptophan – large neutral amino acids
