The following guideline contain materials for Acute Asthma Management which has been aapted in the Fall of 204 from Asthma update the CAEP guidelines. The materials will be divided in two Algorithm for adult and algorithm for children recommendations.

It will be described with sections such bronchodilators, corticosteroids, oxygen therapy, anticholinergics, additional therapies (magnesium sulfate, aminophylline and other agents), metered dose inhaler (MDI), Asthma Risk Profile, and Acute Asthma Discharge Planning.

In the algorithm sections you will be provided with emergency management of  mild, moderate, severe adult asthma, list of recommended emergency department drug usage, and also acute asthma discharge treatment (medications and patient instructions).
