Diabetic Retinopathy is retinopathy (damage to the retina) caused by complications of diabetes mellitus, which can eventually lead to blindness (wikipedia.org). The schematic diagram shows increased leukocyte endothelial cell adhesion and entrapment (leukostasis) in diabetic retinopathy.
