This hospital is seeking an Obgyn. This physician would join an existing FP practice. One physician in the group has a fellowship in OB and provides that service in the community. Call in the practice would be 1:2 and community call would be 1:5. They do 125 deliveries per year which is about 50% of the births in the county. The out migration goes to a neighboring community which has OB’s. The real opportunity is in GYN surgery. The physician would be an employee of the private practice with partnership opportunity in 2 years. The hospital would contract with the practice and the physician to support a net income agreement. Net Income will be competitive in the SE rural region low $200’s. The physicians in the practice normally see patients 4 days per week. Relocation and student loan repayment assistance.
