Description: Large regional healthcare system, near Greenville, North Carolina, has an immediate job opportunity for an Internal Medicine or Family Practice locums provider in their outpatient services clinic while they conduct a permanent search. The clinic is adjacent to an urgent care and provides outpatient primary care to some of Washington’s adult population.
Expect to see 12-16 patients per day in the clinic along with an RN and a great support staff. There is a small census of inpatient rounding. This opportunity is located on a campus that has an internal medicine residency program and the residents will round with the locums physician. In addition, the resident program assists with most of the call after hours. The patient census is primarily geriatric and adult. It is at a state-of-the-art facility that just recently completed a 39,000 square foot expansion project.
